Hockey Directors ​

Kyle Gibbons is a former professional ice hockey player whose career included significant success playing in various professional European leagues after following a standout collegiate tenure at Buffalo, New York’s Canisius College.

While at Canisius, Kyle led Canisius to its first conference championship in 2013 and became Atlantic Hockey Tournament Most Valuable Player. A Hobey Baker nominee and a Lowe’s Senior Class 1st Team All-American, Kyle graduated from Canisius with a degree in finance.

After competing in North American minor leagues, Gibbons moved to Europe, where he became a key offensive contributor for several clubs, where he won promotion to the DEL2 (Germany) during the 2017-2018 season. He spent time in Germany, Italy, and concluded his professional career in France.

Kyle is married to his wife Layne and the couple have two little girls. 

 Suzy Semanick-Schurman is a highly accomplished National, International, and World Coach and a decorated former competitive ice dancer. A 1988 U.S. World & Olympic Team member, she is a multi-time International medalist and a 3-time U.S. National Champion (Junior and Senior Dance). As a coach, she holds a PSA Master Rating and Ranking Level V. Her extensive career also includes roles as Power Skating Coach for the Pittsburgh Penguins, Choreographer for events like Skate America, and Director/Actor in the "Oksana Baiul Movie". 

 Jerry Santoferrara has over 30 years of coaching experience. He is the skating director at the Centre Ice Arena and is an International, National, and Junior World Coach. He is a National Gold Medalist and International Competitor in ice dance, a Regional Gold Medalist in freestyle and an Adult National Artistic Gold Medalist and competitor. He is a Theatre On Ice director and instructor, and ice show director at the Centre Ice Arena.
